Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Baltimore, MD OR Fairfax, VA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
My client, a well-established and respected engineering firm with over a century of excellence, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and construction of complex building systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities-including mission-critical and sustainable buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of building types.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and sub-consultants.
  • Prepare fee proposals, manage project budgets, and oversee project execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland.
  • 16+ years of progressive experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in ETAP or SKM, and experience with Revit.
  • Strong background in lighting and power systems design for government, military, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • LEED BD+C certification preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance may be necessary.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
