Akkodis is seeking an Risk Manager with Vulnerability for a 12-month Contract job with a client in Newark, DE / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid role 3 days onsite 2 days remote). The client is looking for experience in Risk Manager. Experience working with Vulnerability and Disaster Management.

Role: Risk Manager with Vulnerability

Location: Newark, DE / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote)

Type: Contract

Pay Range: $(65 – 70)/hr The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Job Details:

• Need someone proficient in risk remediation - Tracking the same things on an issue an concern level with our apps, vulnerability threats or app software bugs or code issues,
• Some working experience in Disaster Management
• Issues and concerns are problems that are identified with an application where it doesn't meet baseline standards, ex. Bank requires QRS1.2 (they don’t need to know that but that’s there compliance standard), have to track that, document, fix, and update
• Timely closure of application deliverables is essential, all of them have deliverables that get assigned and an app manager has to go in and complete them as they come out.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, this role is always chasing someone because in order for them to be successful they have to track down who is going to make it compliant, ex. Devs, Engineers, etc. .
• Very constant change must be adaptable.
• Vulnerabilities come out and the person doing this role will be plugged in seeing what's coming, need to be able to deliver but shift priority based on threat level
• Certainly would help from infrastructure background
• How hands on technical?
• Network engineering background is usually strong fit
• Security engineers, vulnerability analyst
• 3-5 years of experience would be good, doesn't want them to be too senior but need to be sharp.
