ADP is hiring a Procurement Manager – Travel.

As Procurement Manager - Travel, you will establish and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, rental car companies, and other travel service providers, assisting with negotiating contracts and securing favorable rates. Must effectively communicate with various departments and global travel management companies (TMCs) to ensure efficient travel management.

In this role, you will assist employees during their travels, including addressing travel disruptions, providing travel advisories, and ensuring traveler safety and security while overseeing the daily support of our travel tools and systems.

What you’ll do:

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Stay updated on travel trends and recommend innovative travel ideas to continue to evolve ADP’s travel program.
  • Leverage travel technology and tools to streamline travel processes and improve traveler experience.
  • Maintain online booking tool and provide support to associates, including but not limited to maintaining travel profiles, corporate card details, issues with booking travel
  • Manage strategic business partner and vendor relationships to ensure ADP achieves its strategic, financial, and operational initiatives.
  • Monitor preferred supplier utilization, build roster to ensure capability to deliver across service line portfolios, and track performance to ensure the ability to meet account needs.
  • Analyze travel data and identify trends, cost savings opportunities, and areas of improvement in the travel program.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and ensuring adherence to company travel policy and program in alignment with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
  • Ensure associates are informed of travel policies, procedures, and any updates through effective communication and training programs.
  • Develop and apply data analytics to extract insights from data, driving in-depth analysis of third-party spend.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, utilizing data analytics to enhance decision-making.
  • Work with the Meeting and Events team to streamline meeting request submissions and processes as well as maintain relationships with Strategic Meeting Management Partners.

Experience. You have 7-10 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Procurement experience, including expertise in corporate travel, policies, compliance, technology, and vendor relationship management.
  • Experience partnering with travel partners, ensuring compliance and program enhancement.
  • Strong negotiation experience – to secure favorable contracts and rates with travel vendors
  • Excellent Communication skills – to effectively communicate with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills – to address travel disruptions, provide support to travelers, and resolve issues that arise.
  • Data analytics experience and financial business acumen. Demonstrated strong analysis skills, and ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of the Travel Industry – Familiarity with travel booking systems, travel policies, and travel-related regulations.
  • Technical skills – Concur Travel Technologies – particularly knowledge of Concur Online Booking Tool, are essential for corporate travel managers.
  • Familiarity with various travel technologies and software solutions allows travel managers to enhance their service offerings, ensuring they remain competitive in a rapidly evolving travel industry.
  • Sound understanding of finance management, travel policies, and hands-on experience with travel management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You’ll have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
