Role Overview
The Manager, Marketing Programs, role is a terrific opportunity to develop or grow as a direct marketer. The individual who fills this role will become an integral member of the team, working across Marketing to support multiple client programs and Epic initiatives, including engagement with Marketing Analysis and Finance, to help drive business success.
The Manager, Marketing Programs, will support the ongoing management of one or more clients across various financial services products such as (but not limited to) credit cards, personal loans, home equity loans, education and education refinance loans, balance transfers, and deposits. This is a true general marketing position with a heavy initial focus on timeline management and direct marketing campaign execution. This position will report to a Senior Director, Marketing.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of direct marketing fundamentals, aptitude for tactical execution and strategic thought, attention to detail, strong abilities with both numbers and writing, and comfort working with (or learning about) a number of products across a diverse set of clients.

Overall Responsibilities
· Support the day-to-day management of client relationship(s) and communications regarding the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, from conceptual development to delivery into the market
· Support the development and management of tactical timelines and campaign execution activities, which may include interaction with internal stakeholders, clients, creative resources, credit bureaus, list owners, list processors, print production suppliers, digital developers, etc.
· Prepare for and actively participate in internal and external planning and status calls
· Gather, confirm, and communicate accurate campaign requirements to internal and external stakeholders
· Support the development and management of marketing matrices
· Work closely with designers to develop compelling copy and design that resonates with the target audience, aligns with the client’s branding and drives action
· Manage creative versioning of marketing collateral
· As needed, review production and creative audits for accuracy of content, data, specifications, and branding requirements
· Coordinate client reviews of campaign requirements and collateral to secure final approvals
· Support supplier invoice payments and client invoice preparation
· Support reconciliation of internal and client-related documentation
· Stay updated on industry/competitive trends and best practices in direct mail and direct marketing, and review campaign results, in order to recommend innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and tests
· Other related activities as assigned

· Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills to aid in auditing complex production, creative, and list outputs
· Ability to understand and document detailed campaign processes and requirements
· Comfort with calculations used in direct marketing campaign management and invoicing
· Understanding of direct mail marketing principles and fundamentals
· Client relationship, client management, and vendor management skills
· Affable personality with strong history of effective relationship building skills and collaboration
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Adobe Acrobat; and Outlook
· B.S. or B.A. degree (Marketing, Business or Communications degrees preferred)
