Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors (Delta) is a multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in upstate New York in 1976. About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Group. The desired candidate will preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience. FE is an added plus, however not required. Individuals who are intending to obtain this certification are highly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Proficiency in HydroCAD, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required. A working knowledge of InRoads Storm & Sanitary and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge is preferred. Past experience in the development of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans which implemented green infrastructure for site and linear projects is preferred.

Primary duties will include:

• Performing work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and/or equipment.
• Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education.
• Becoming proficient in group design software.
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
• Attending client meetings/presentations.
• Communicating with client representatives, contractors, and suppliers.
• Serving on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography.
• Developing quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.
• Participating in site visits/inspections during construction.

Pay range and compensation package

This is a full-time position available at our headquarters in Endwell NY,

Hiring Range: $60,000-80,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)

Delta is driven to exceed our clients' expectations on every project. Accordingly, the successful applicant for this position must be willing to occasionally work adjusted hours/overtime.
